AI Aware Launches Deepfake Detector to Expand Industry-Leading AI Content Detection Platform
Rezul News/10736833
New capability enables organisations to identify AI-generated and manipulated video content alongside AI-generated text
WESTMINSTER, U.K. - Rezul -- AI Aware, the UK-based AI detection platform produced by Happy AI, the company behind one of the leading AI-generated text detection systems, today announced the launch of its Deepfake Detector, enabling organisations to identify AI-generated and manipulated video content with greater confidence.
The new Deepfake Detector extends AI Aware's existing suite of AI detection technologies, which already helps organisations identify AI-generated text. The addition of video analysis marks another step towards AI Aware's vision of providing a multi-modal cyber security solution analysing all forms of AI-generated content.
"As generative AI becomes more powerful and accessible, organisations face growing risks from AI-generated content," said Stephen Harmston, Founder at AI Aware. "While AI-generated text remains a significant challenge, deepfake videos are rapidly becoming one of the most serious threats to trust, reputation, security and fraud prevention. Our new Deepfake Detector gives organisations another critical tool for understanding whether the content they are reviewing is authentic."

Deepfake technology can now generate highly realistic videos that imitate real individuals, making it increasingly difficult to distinguish genuine footage from AI-generated media. Businesses, government agencies, educational institutions and financial organisations are all facing growing concerns around misinformation, impersonation fraud, reputational attacks and manipulated evidence.
AI Aware's Deepfake Detector has been designed to help organisations identify signs of AI-generated and manipulated video content, supporting investigations, content verification and risk management processes.
Unlike solutions focused on a single content type, AI Aware is building a multi-model unified AI detection platform covering text, video, image and audio content.
"People are creating AI videos, audio and imagery at unprecedented scale. Organisations need a unified way to assess authenticity across all content formats, not separate tools operating in isolation." commented Harmston.
AI Aware combines machine learning, other detection models, advanced statistical analysis and proprietary detection methodologies to identify signals associated with AI-generated content. The company's technology has been developed to remain resilient as generative AI models continue to evolve.
