A packed house watched the Texas Legends team beat the Oklahoma Legends team to record the first win of the series (last year was a tie). Texas picked up a 17-16 win after the two teams combined for 30 runs in the first three innings.

Huston Street was selected game MVP after driving in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 6th. Street nearly recorded an inside-the-park home run on the play, but missed 3rd base and was ruled out. Street finished the game 2 for 3, with two triples and 2 RBIs.

Famous former college football coaches Mack Brown of Texas, and Bob Stoops and Barry Switzer of Oklahoma were all on the field, although they coached instead of playing.

Texas' lineup headlined by McConaughey (1-2, 2B, 3 RBI, R), featured plenty of former Texas stars. Former Texas QB Vince Young (1-2, R), Heisman Trophy Winner Ricky Williams (1-3, R), MLB OF Drew Stubbs (1-2, 2 R) and ace pitcher Roger Clemens (1-2) were also in uniform.

Oklahoma's lineup headlined by Toby Keith also featured former MLB pitcher Brad Penny (1-4, 2B), NFL DT Tommie Harris (1-2, 2 RBI, R) and Heisman Trophy Winner Jason White (0-1).
