DALLAS - Rezul -- The 2019 NBA Finals was once again broadcast on television by ABC, but a new type of live NBA programming from Chat Sports  hit a record during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.

Thursday night's Game 6 'Watch Party' saw a 357% increase in audience, with 1,153,000 viewers watching the Raptors Game 6 victory and 1st-ever NBA Championship with Chat Sports on YouTube. Strong growth from North American & Asian markets drove the increases.

The 'Watch Party' format centers around the game scoreboard, players stats, and play-by-play and analysis from two hosts, but provides a unique, audience-focused viewing experience with live audience Q&A and polls. Thursday's Game 6 show format resulted in thousands of new subscribers, nearly 160,000 audience comments on the broadcast's live chat and more than 57,000 concurrent viewers - all records for the company. United States, Canada, and Southeast Asian markets all drove the growth and hit records.

The Game 6 'Watch Party' was hosted by Chat Sports' Tom Downey and Jimmy Crowther from the company's studio in Dallas, TX. On Thursday June 20th, Chat Sports, with hosts Downey and Crowther, will broadcast the entire 2019 NBA Draft live on YouTube and Facebook Live starting at 6p ET. The company's 2018 NBA Draft live broadcast attracted 690,000 live viewers on YouTube and over 2 million viewers live and on-demand across multiple digital platforms.
